Master Modeler Competition 2022
University of South Carolina & Georgia Tech
The UofSC team earned first place in data science & analytics competition
Winning first place in Master Modeler Competition 2022 was only half the victory for UofSC graduate students Chanyong Yoo and Kevin Enyekwe. Yoo and Enyekwe were also proud to potentially offer a solution to help youth homelessness in their real-world analysis for the competition.
They competed against 2 other finalist teams from UofSC and 3 finalist teams from Georgia Tech to provide a solution for the same project. Master Modeler Competition 2022 was hosted by UofSC's Moore School’s Center for Applied Business Analytics, in collaboration with Master of Science in Analytics program at Georgia Institute of Technology, with prize and travel sponsorship from Domo and South Carolina Student Loan, and space sponsorship by Axis Group.
